Prusaku ansamblis were a Latvian blues-rock band formed in 1974. Although their lifespan was only one year long, the band managed to put together one of the greatest albums in Latvian rock history. The cult blues trio was formed by Latvian immigrants in Netherlands. Marks Opeskins met his future guitarist Gundars Rullis in a local blues gig and the two decided to strengthen their creative collaboration by forming a blues band.
