To support the 1991 release "Out of Time," R.E.M. traveled to Europe for a handful of promotional appearances. Having toured virtually nonstop during the '80s, the band had no plans of doing a full fledged tour. While in London, however, they played two exclusive engagements at the Borderline under the pseudonym Bingo Hand Job. Joining Bill Berry, Peter Buck, Mike Mills and Michael Stipe were special guests Billy Bragg, Robyn Hitchcock and Peter Holsapple.
